You talk about when a pet is ready to cross over, assuming it's old or sick. But what about animals that are healthy and not ready to leave this world, a perfectly healthy pet that is euthanized because someone doesn't want it anymore or because no one adopted it at a shelter? Or a healthy animal that is killed by a cruel or careless person?

My dad died and i never cried. My little dog died 2 weeks ago and I cant stop crying, at home, at night, in public....i just cant stop. We were inseperable and she was by my side for 14 years 5 months 2 weeks and 5 days. I miss her so much.

My Lilly had to be put down today… she was with me for 13 years.. she saw me through my parents passing, my grandparents, other pets.. she had cancer and a huge tumor.. she was literally her beautiful normal self until today. I haven’t stopped crying .. I feel pain, guilt, anger, sadness, heartbreak all at once.. I can’t eat I can’t sleep .. I just cry.. I have been through so much In my life and nothing felt like today.. she would have been in pain and I had to say YES… natural is gods plan… I’m not god but I had to say yes… so there we were .. me the vet and my Lilly girl .. nose to nose until the end.. I love you Lilly! Please give me a sign you’re ok!

My ginger cat honey had a heart attack at 7 years of age when I took him to the vet I knew he was dead but I took him to the vet and a taxi here 24-hour vet at 10:00 p.m. because I couldn't get a pet it was like the cat was tippy toeing on my lap to say goodbye it was dead as anything anyway and sometimes I feel it on the bed when his sister is somewhere else I think I always at p r i e z e know it felt like the ghost cat

My dogs death wasnt being planned she died today june 28 2024 8:48 am she was attacked by two german shepherds she was one of the sweetest chihuahua youd ever meet i already miss her rest in peace 🕊️

I lost my girl in March this year, a couple of days later I was just randomly walking and I looked down and saw a penny, just there on the floor, a nice, shiny new looking one, my girls name was Penny and I instantly thought of her as it was so random that I happened to look down at that exact moment and seen it there, I hope she is OK where she is and she is very much missed, she was the best girl with such a gentle soul, bless you Penny, we love you! ❤️🌹
